The Alpibike Resort is comprised of 8 mountain biking resorts, of which 3 are linked (Sauze, Sestriere and Sansicario). The bike resorts of Chiomonte, Bardonecchia, Claviere and Montgenevre (France) are all within a half hour drive of Sauze.
The area surrounding Sauze d'Oulx offers mountain bike trails that will take you through woods, around lakes and over mountain tops. There is an abundance of tracks that allow you to fully explore the area.
The 13 freeride trails have been built to satisfy the most passionate mountain bikers, and are designed for all standards of rider, from expert to beginner. The Bike Resort is the work of Canadian Erik Burgon from 4giump, who has followed the natural curve of the terrain, which he says is uniquely special, and naturally adapted to freeride mountain biking.
Singletrack magazine describes the area as: “An immense domain full of all sorts of trails that range from gruelling, high-altitude climbs to beautiful rolling singletrack, dropping from high above the tree-line to woods that will make you ask yourself ‘Is this British Colombia, heaven, or a combination of both?’”
The Prariond-Sportinia chairlift leads up to 8 trails: 1 easy, 6 medium and 1 difficult where riders can test their biking skills along single-tracks and toboggan. There are also many artificial structures made from wood, such as drop and wall ride, and on earth such as table and step-up. The second chairlift, Rocce Nere, brings you to 3 trails with a strongly enduro character: long, natural and panoramic routes. And then for learning or for warming up before embarking on the descents, in the town centre there is Central Park with plenty of wood structures and a North Shore trail on which to try out your skills.

| At the base of the Clotes piste there is a bike park where you can learn the skills required for the jumps and ramps along the trails. There are always biking instructors on hand to help you make the most of your time. |  |
 | During the summer season, a number of bike races pass through Sauze, from the toughest of cross-country races "Iron Bike", x-mountain and gravity endurance "Superenduro" to the "Mountain Classic". This July the “Tour de France” will pass through nearby Pinerolo. |
In the hotel, cyclists and motorcyclists are very welcome. For safety we have a mountain bike shed in the garden, and motorcyclists have the possibility of parking in the garage. For the most affectionate mountain bikers, there is also the possibility of keeping the bike in your hotel room with you.
We have a small covered area where you can take care of bike maintenance, as well as a water pump-spray for cleaning purposes.
Throughout the month of July, there are special discounted hotel prices for cyclists, with a minimum 3 night stay.
